[The Amazing Peplum]

Yet, another "amazing" filled up a weekend of mine...
Have you watched the Amazing Spider Man? Well I have.  And it is, indeed, amazing! So is Andrew Garfield and his pow wow build wandering thru the NYC's buildings #hystericallymelting
Not to mention Emma Stone and her girl-next-door persona that completes this amazing-duo ♥

Anyhow, my outfit inspi' hailed from neither the hero nor the heroine of this movie, but the actually-not-that-evil villain: The Lizard

Grew attached to my "O.P.I Spotted The Lizard" nail polish (see my outlined nails' post *here*), I opted to dress up around the theme.

[Concert Diary: The A-MRAZ-ING Tour is A Four Letter Word]

Jason Mraz Tour is a Four Letter Word Concert: I came, I saw, I listened ~♪♫♥

When there is love, Jason Mraz cant wait to talk bout it. When it comes to fashion, I cant wait to talk bout it.

Decided to rock the night in my favorite and comfy chambray jumpsuit. There's nothing friendlier to your skin other than lightweight fabric if goin to outdoor concert, especially on summer (...or at tropical climate places)

Replaced my usual necklace fiesta with halter tank, dun wanna have all these wore-off metal stains from color-plated accessories all over my neck, that was mostly triggered by sweats FYI. Besides, halter tank can give quite a touch to your neckline,also it's good for hanging sunnies :p

Tho' I knew Jason Mraz rings with straw hat, I still went with my essential bowler-hat. 1st I cudnt find my straw hat anywhere. 2nd straw hat doesnt go with my studded loafers, which I havent gotten tired of up until this very moment. (Well, I cud use a little help from the studs to roam the crowd and get to my desired position *smirk*)

And, finally, I got to "flaunt" my Brightspot haul: NIKICIO lace jacket + ANTYKBUTYK barca bracelet.

To the concert, we go!

Got quite handful of eye-candy while heading to the concert's venue, The Meadows: Gardens by the Bay. Splendid views to Marina Bay Sands, Singapore Flyer, and to the Supertree Grove that I've been dying to visit. Totally a recommended place to visit on your time-off.

And as I expected, Jason Mraz is nothing but a-mraz-ing! Time and money well spent *tee-hee* (and for me personally, an escapade that was worth psyched about: my 1st concert-in-a-park, with awesome new found friends :))

Whether you have or have not (which I'm sure most of you have :)), here's a pop of coral..oops I mean color, that will not fail your spring transition to summer: Peachy Coral ♥ 

This in-between shade of pastel and neon has soaked its way to summer, as seen decorating Louis Vuitton as well as Suno Resort'13 Collection (Jacobs and Osterweis-Beatty approve!). With its pinkish hue and tangerine hint, it's a perfect color to warm-up to summer. Experience the fun of this color from your head to toe.

   

Who wouldnt fall for this color? Cos I certainly has!

[Nails Diary: Outlined Nails (O.P.I Just Spotted The Lizard)]

Cant help but notice this outlined nails trend that keeps popping up around.  Well I  must admit that I didnt have immediate fondness towards this trend, but curiosity crept up on me that I brought myself to actually try it.

And...I got deceived by the simplicity of it. It was actually hard to outline nails, especially when you have no nail liner or special dotting tools.
But worry not, for there are many ways lead to Rome ♥
Thanks to my used eye-liner brush, I cud successfully outlined these nails.

Yay to "recycling" ♥

I suggest you to use the pen eye liner, cos it gives more control while you outline.  And you can also use your eye-liner directly instead of using it with nail polish (but, wudnt it be more costly?)

Well, pen marker is also another option. But I personally pick the eye-liner brush cos it resembles the strokes paint brush produces.  The strokes are somehow nicer and more suave.

As for the nail polish, I finally got my hand on the O.P.I Just Spotted The Lizard (from Amazing Spider Man) that I've purchased while ago. It's definitely a perfect dupe to my wishlist, Chanel's Peridot, at a more compromising price :p  And many reviews mentioned that it lasts longer than Chanel. What more can I say but "BUY!" *tee-hee*

 

The theme, well, is very obvious. In case you guys are wondering what have I drawn on my middle finger there, well it's a spider web *I've tried my best*.
So it's like "Spider Man captures the Lizard" :p

I'm thinking about givin this "outlined nails" another try, a pastel nail polish+neon outlined ♥  Cos black outline gives out this dirty fingers' feeling :( but however it does intensify the nail polish color tho'

Well, good luck givin it a try girls! And cant wait for The Amazing Spider Man: Garfield Stone duo ♥♥♥

The arrival of summer marks the arrival of the color white. With all the heat comin up, white is a definite yes color for summer. 

And...with the fluorescence keeps on reigning, white is welcome as both neutralizer and enhancer to the neon palette. Well you know, cos overdoing a neon getup may sometimes lead to dragtitude. And no one wants that, aight!?
So, for instance from the first two looks, sport your Little White Dresses (summer must have ladies!) and let them act as the neutral base that accentuate your statement neon pieces.

Or simply go white-on-white to rock your neon nails (yes to Chanel Holiday ♥)
