Sunday afternoon, rain was not falling ~ ♪♫
So...
S and I planned to catch some sun (yes, for we are the pale faces). Since we're not beach people, we settled for an outdoor sightseeing, around the Marina Bay Sands area...and some indoor sightseeing later on the afternoon.
The agenda was to grab some snack at Singapore Food Trail below the Singapore Flyer, then carried on the journey to ArtScience Museum of Marina Bay Sands via the stupendous Helix Bridge.
Talkin bout the ArtScience Museum, we were there to experience the magical world of Harry Potter and the eccentric world of Andy Warhol indeed.
Well, Harry Potter made me wanted to channel a bit of London while I was playing dress-up. And Alexa Chung's quirky preppy style came in mind, my ultimate inspi' ♥
Threw in some collars, dress, loafers, and satchel, and voila...
Embroidered CutOut Shirt - Topshop *here*/DoubleBreasted Shirtdress-(X)S.M.L/Loafers-Mom's Vintage/Proenza Schouler Mini PS11 F/W 2011 in ColorBlock Orange
I use my mini PS11 like almost everytime, and this is my 1st outfit post using it. #irony
Btw, I'm truly head over heels for this bag ♥
I also wear this embroidered top like most of the time, and this is my 1st outfit post of it. #anotherironystruck
And so, our Tour de MBS began...
Tempted to experience dining in a 1960s old town Singapore atmosphere, we stopped by Singapore Food Trail, which was one of Singapore top 5 new hawker centers according to CNN GO in 2011. (Awesome blog review of Singapore Food Trail *here*)
We had Oyster Omelette to fill our bellies for the journey, and it was good...and spicy. A must try :)
The oyster was so fresh and juicy ♥
A small store selling all vintage stuffs from the olden days...
I actually still sew using this Singer machine, my grandma's vintage ♥
Continuing the journey...
We took a moment (and some pictures of course :p) to enjoy the breath-taking sceneries from Singapore Flyer to MBS.
Been dying to visit the Helix Bridge, and finally I did. Thanks, S!

Harry Potter: The Exhibition and Andy Warhol: 15 Minutes Eternal
(http://www.marinabaysands.com/Singapore-Museum/Ticketing/)
We accidentally dressed up in theme w/ the exhibitions: S in Warhol's pink and me in HP's blue
Visiting the Harry Potter exhibition had made me realized that "wow, I really grew up with these guys and now their stories had come to an end." Felt kinda sad somehow, and lucky as well. Lucky to live to know and experience this amazing masterpiece of J.K. Rowling #dramaqueen
"Mischief Managed"
Cudnt help contained my 10 year-old inside and got myself these.
Psst...it's the Elder Wand :p
Really enjoy Mr. Warhol's masterworks, such as Campbell’s Soup (1961), Silver Liz (1963), Jackie (1964),
Marilyn Monroe (1967), Time
Capsule 51 (1970s), The Last Supper (1986), and his iconic Self
Portraits.
And his love of shoes and fashion as well ♥
I also found his quotes "inspiring" and "intriguing" :)
(FYI, 15 Minute Eternal is titled after Warhol's quote, “In the future, everybody will be world famous for 15 minutes”)
