They say...CFDA Awards is where fashion fetes its best. Agree or disagree? Well, you can decide it for yourself :)
Here are the round-up looks of the night ♥ (as usual, red carpet looks always manage to intrigue me with the varieties them bring)
I'll start with my favorites...
I'll start with my favorites...
Zoe Saldana held me captivated in a stunning Prabal Gurung sheer panel black gown. They fit each other perfectly in an explicit away.
Salute to Prabal Gurung. He successfully captures the bold and daring essence yet still maintaining the graceful factor.

While the minimalism in the hairdo and accessories, the smokin smokey eyes, and yes the catchy mary-jane..all just fall into the right place.
Definitely my most favorite tonight ♥
Another excitement also comes from (one-of-my-favorite) Asian-origin designers: Alexander Wang; and yet it's another black simplicity that stole my heart. Wang brings his signature black into the design of a cocktail dress with a croc-leather twist and asymmetrical drapery skirt that creates this distinct edgy androgynous feel. Carine Roitfeld looks tres chic in it!
Wish I were to have that dress in the little closet of mine #boo-hoo
Model ☑ Michael Kors Mono-tone Dress ☑ Gold Accessories ☑ Sexy Up-do ☑
Both Joan Smalls and Erin Heatherton rock their Michael Kors dress to the max with a min effort (or can I say effortless). The minimal styling with a hint gold simply brings out the luxury of the dress.

Here's another stunner at the red carpet that also looks effortlessly gorgeous, Hilary Rhoda in Rebecca Minkoff multi-blue maxi dress. Simply reminds me of the sea ♥ The legs are her main accessory here I guess.
I can say that the term "less is more" does apply, that simplicity fetes at its best at CFDA Awards 2012 ♥
For the best accessories, I'd say Elettra Wiedemann's. The model accessorizes her Rachel Roy cut-out burgundy dress with Lulu Frost statement necklace that goes just right with her Rachel Roy ‘Farrah’ leather architectural open toe metal tri-colour sandals. An absolute stunning statement she makes!
As for the shoes, I'll go with Nicholas Kirkwood for Prabal Gurung that grace both Zoe Saldana and Jessica Chastain looks that night. Which one is your favorite? I, myself, cant decide. Both colors look fantastic!
Here are other fashion darlings that also deliver quite a catch in the eyes
Dree Hemingway and Tabitha Simmons laidback style is surprisingly acceptable and also favorable. As a reminder that red carpet is not always all bout glam, what's with a little casual style. In love with both Tabitha Simmons' boots and Proenza Schouler peacock jacket ♥ Edginess alert! *Congrats Tabitha for winning Swarovski Award for Emerging Talent in Accessory Design*
The Metallics
Shu Pei in Vera Wang - Lily Collins in Marchesa - Arizona Muse in DVF.
Shu Pei in Vera Wang - Lily Collins in Marchesa - Arizona Muse in DVF.
Lily Collins is the winner in this category, she looks sweetly amazing H2T, while Shu Pei and Muse shoes fail to make an impression.
The Patternists
Liu Wen in Suno - Dakota Fanning in Proenza Schouler - Crystal Renn in Zac Posen - Karolina Kurkova in Tommy Hilfiger - Kate Bosworth in Altuzzara
A pattern party is happening on the CFDA 2012 red carpet, with Bosworth and Renn nailing the look just right. As for the others: Liu Wen with the boots, Dakota with the gammy's hair, and Karolina with too-much orange, they just seem kinda off-the-beat.
Last but not least, The main heroines of the night, The Olsen twins, both in The Row.
Congrats girls for winning Womenswear of the Year Award (for The Row) ✫
MK debuting her new brunette hair..a yay or nay?
Which looks do you like best? ♥
