Spring of 2014 has welcomed yet another nature colors to its palette: green, the light and serene version of this inspiriting hue.  And like its pastel confidante, placid blue, this light green offers the same tranquility and familiarity, which makes it a great as a stand alone color and to mix n' match with other colors in the spectrum.

Simply rock matching top n' bottom of this shade, which are totally in the hype must-try looks this season (see 3.1 Phillip Lim, Prabal Gurung, and Calvin Klein) or blend it in with another pastels or neutrals to maintain its tranquil hint (here, here, here, and here)

What's more with the recent street style of Autumn/Winter 2014 fashion weeks crowds, which shows how the crowds have successfully figured out this blue's clues. 

Don a matching placid blue top and bottoms like what Jeanie Lee did and add some matching accessories in the same colors as well.  Or simply put a jacket of this hue over your monochrome articles, like Kate Foley and Eleina Welteroth did.

[Wish List: Anya Hindmarch Crisp Packet Clutch]

Anya Hindmarch, following the footsteps of her fellow designers, such as Margiela and Olympia, has claimed yet another item from our secret snack stash.  They already have the candy wrapper and gummy bear in the we're-not-gonna-judge-you-for-omnomnoming-such-food land, and now it's time for a package of delish crisps (...or potato chips) to cross over.

Hindmarch's idea of of creating luxurious versions of everyday objects resulted in a 18 x 13 x 4 cm Crisp Packet Clutch that has taken the shape of a pack of Walker's crisps (heard it was the Salt&Vinegar flavour...another reason to love this clutch).  Hindmarch calls it a “perfect little clutch and actually a little piece of art. It is really modern, and a forever classic, I think.”
Check out the elaborate design and craftsmanship this little piece of art went through before hitting the market here.

This GBP995 per 500 g crisp clutch comes in 4 metallic hues: London Blue, Orange, Pale Gold and Silver, with a suede lining and detachable chain strap.

The shiny nature of its metallic colour and its petite size make this clutch the perfect evening bag for you who's bored of the conventional ones.  And for those, who were born to take place under the limelight, this will be just the right bag to make all the heads turn your way...have this metallic piece to finish up your casual look for that extra crisp.

[Trendspotter: Balenciaga Egyptofunk Collection F/W 2012 + Mirrored Sunglasses]

It's not an unusual thing when some fashionistas are spotted sporting the same outfit or accessories.  At least it's nothing to be worry about or ashamed of, according to the guardian of fashion Anna Dello Russo in her lesson #6: "Somebody wearing your same outfit? Wonderful! You did the right choice" *here*

Well, during the fashion weeks of Spring/Summer 2013 collection, some noted fashionistas seem to generate the same fondness towards these two futuristic-themed pieces: the Balenciaga Egyptofunk Collection F/W'12 and the mirrored sunglasses, as they keep getting caught on camera donned in different styles.

The Balenciaga Egyptofunk galactic tees and sweatshirts sell out in a speed of light, leaving one with no "on-a-second-thought" option ...either get it now or never.  It seems that Nicholas Ghesquire's mission on bringing back the 80's sci-fi geek attire in a space-y balenciaga chic way is quite a hit, seeing from the positive signs shown by the fashion universe. 
And here they are, energized in the fashion weeks by these fabulous fashionable femmes...

[Mirrored Sunglasses] 
"Mirror, mirror on the wall, who's the fairest of them all?" is what you might hear yourself say as you catch your own reflection on this nothing but a pair of mirrored sunglasses.
Every fashionable being that walks this earth has started to proclaim their love (again) to the reflective nature of mirrored sunglasses since last season, as they were re-introduced by Rag & Bone and Trussardi in their S/S'12 collections.  
Up til this season, the reign of this eyewear still continues, proven by snap after snap of pictures of its loyal devotees, who have been fashionably sporting their very own pair of mirrored sunnies from one fashion week to another. 
Well, what's not to love from these double-agent shades (UV protector/Mirror 911)?

Sartorially speaking, this rich wine color (or maroon or burgundy or oxblood or whatever it is suits you) has been spotted high and low from the clothing department to the accessories and beauty department (since the last two seasons If I'm not mistaken).

Cos' the epitomes of this head-to-toe bordeaux have indeed walked the earth and radiates none but chic ♥

The hint to this head-to-toe bordeaux look is to finish up with neutral accessories, like the non-colors black-gray-white or brown, in order to keep the spotlight on the monochrome.
 

However, it's never a crime to experiment in fashion.  For you who are still in transition from colorful summer, here's an inspi from Hanneli Mustaparta with her signature burgundy-blue color combi ♥

This bordeaux color is certainly starting to grow on me, gotta stock up on this season must-haves in this shade.  What say you? ♥
