[Sale Alert: Net-a-Porter]

This is the time I've been waiting for: end of season sale
And I strongly suggest you to check out Net-a-Porter cos' they seldom has sale.
In conclusion, one does not simply miss Net-a-Porter sale.

Here's a couple looks I put up for your transition to summer.  Enjoy and happy shopping

Look No.1
What's a better way to start transitioning to summer other than with denim, it has summer and '90s vibes all over it.  And this LDD (Little Denim Dress) will do it for you.  Complete the look with Sophia Webster on-demand heels, Stella McCartney popular Falabella bag, and Isabel Marant tassel earrings.  The tribal pattern, the woven raffia, the agate stones, and the neon stripes...all screams summer for sure!
Rock this look to brunch/lunch with your gal pals.

Look No.2
The Valentino sandals form S/S 2014 collection inspires this (kind of) Greek goddess look.  The lizard-print bikini and gold-plated necklace with tusk resin charms are added to complement the animal kingdom theme going on the sandals (notice the gold scarab beetle embellished on the strap?)
And white is most definitely the color you want to have against the pristine white sand for that ethereal kind of moment.

Look No.3
The best time to buy a dress, especially an evening dress is when it's on sale, cos' let's be honest, it's not something you're gonna wear very often.  And you may want to invest in a simple evening dress that you can wear more than once.  A dress that you can recycle by simply changing the accessories adorning the look according to the event or season.

[Pastel, Skull, Floral, & Everything Nice]

Remember my "pastel catch" from Lowrys Farm, Bugis+ Singapore last July?  Here they are: *here*

Well...
I dont usually buy printed pants, but when I do...it's floral (Sorry, kidding! Too much 9gag-ing effect :p)

But yeah, the purchase of this pair of floral pants was more like an impulse buying.  Cos at first, I was only gonna get the chambray shirt, and the on-sale sweater.  But, I got hooked on this printed bottom while I was trying it together with those two tops.  They all matched so dearly, you know...all floral, pastel, and pretty  *yay to flower power!*
And FYI, in my defense, I was wearing a dress that day, so I needed a bottom to go with the tops.  Unless, it's gonna be weird trying on tops without a bottom.  I feel 'half-done' somehow. Do you guys also carry this kind of habit?

So, since I wasn't goin anywhere breezy or cool, I decided to throw on my floral pants with a thin comfy fringe tee (save the sweater for a rainy day, I shall).  Feelin a little rebellious today, err..girly rebellious.
And, voilĂ !

I finally found the skull ring(s) I've been dying to possess! Aww, how I skulls...thanks Lovisa!
Got the skull bracelet to go with my rings, as well.
Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band misspelled #LOL
Neon et Pastel
my dearest pair of Rockin, which depicts both beauty and torture.

Just a little intermezzo...seeing Dakota in this style, makes my urge to purchase wedge sneakers even more bigger! Well, I can use a pair of cute wedge sneakers for my 'pastel catch' look, not necessarily has to be Isabel Marant's, but will be lovely if it is. #babblingbabbling

[Independence Day: Indonesia 67th]

"MERDEKA!  MERDEKA!  MERDEKA!"

Dolled myself up in a patriotic ensemble for Indonesia 67th Independence Day.  (FYI, I love dressin up to a theme)
Since the theme for today is (again) Flag of Indonesia, here's a little intermezzo of the meaning lies within our beloved nation's flag the Sang Saka Merah Putih:
"The red stands for courage, while the white stands for purity. The red represents human's body or physical life, while white represents human's soul or spiritual life. Together they stand for a complete human being" (as quoted from Mr.Wiki)

And, here's my form of patriotism for the day

Heart-talk:
It's ironic now that I come to miss the school's flag ceremony, which I used to hate very much back then.  I do miss the competitions as well, which I very much liked back then.  What else do you miss from this Independence Day routines you used to do? :)

Happy Independence Day!
